






Concrete protective lining is a protective sheet made of high molecular weight polyethylene (HDPE, UHMW-PE) or modified polyolefin materials. It is manufactured using a one-time extrusion molding process and is bonded to concrete through mechanical anchoring, welding or embedding to form a durable and stable protective layer. It is mainly used for long-term corrosion protection, seepage prevention and wear resistance protection of concrete structure surfaces, and is widely used in engineering structures such as sewage treatment plants, chemical storage tanks, sedimentation tanks, tunnels, and water channels that are in long-term contact with corrosive media.
Concrete protective liners are concrete substrate protection materials made using the excellent chemical stability, flexibility, sealing and impermeability, and wear-resistant self-lubricating properties of HDPE. They form a composite structure with concrete, combining “HDPE flexible protection + concrete rigid load-bearing,” compensating for the shortcomings of concrete such as porosity, susceptibility to corrosion and leakage, and high roughness. They possess properties such as waterproofing, corrosion resistance, crack prevention, impermeability, and wear resistance. HDPE offers advantages in terms of resistance to strong chemical corrosion, low-temperature toughness, ease of construction, and cost-effectiveness, making it a mainstream concrete protection solution for municipal water supply/drainage, water conservancy, industrial corrosion protection, and concrete pools/silos/culverts.
