High-density polyethylene (HDPE) rods are cylindrical engineering plastic profiles made from high-molecular-weight polyethylene resin through extrusion or molding processes. They possess excellent physical properties and chemical stability, making them an ideal lightweight material to replace metals and wood, and are widely used in various industrial fields.

Specifications: Diameter range is typically 6 mm – 250 mm.

Colors: Standard colors are white and black; other colors can be customized.

Diameter range Standard stock sizes range from 10mm to 300mm.
Length specifications The standard length is 1000 mm or 2000 mm, and can be precisely cut according to customer needs.
Common colors Custom colors such as natural white (natural color), black (usually containing UV-resistant additives), blue, and green can be provided upon request.
Physical properties It has extremely low water absorption (<0.01%), excellent dielectric properties, and excellent impact resistance (even at low temperatures).

>>   Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance: It has strong resistance to most acids, alkalis, organic solvents and electrolytes, and will not rust or be chemically corroded like metals. Its water absorption rate is extremely low (close to zero).

>>   Wear resistance and low friction: With self-lubricating properties and a low coefficient of friction, it is an ideal material for manufacturing sliding parts (such as sliders and guide rails), and performs well under high-wear conditions such as sand and gravel.

>>   Precision machining: Cutting, drilling, or finishing is very easy using CNC lathes and milling machines, enabling the rapid manufacture of complex precision parts. Hot air welding or extrusion welding is supported, achieving more stable and stronger permanent connections than adhesive bonding.

>>   Food-grade certification: Most HDPE bars meet FDA or USDA standards, are non-toxic and odorless, making them the preferred material for the food machinery and pharmaceutical industries.

Truck dump hopper
UHMWPE liners are typically custom-made to fit the truck bed dimensions, with a thickness generally ranging from 5 to 20 mm. They are installed inside the hopper using countersunk bolts or similar methods. During use, the fasteners should be checked regularly for looseness to ensure the liner's stability.
